Ingredients required: 4 large Oranges
Method:
- Before making the juice, smack each orange, lightly, on a tabletop or counter top and roll them around a bit, till they feel slightly softer.
- Cut the oranges into halves.
- Squeeze the halved oranges into a glass with your hand. You could use a citrus reamer too.
- For less pulp, you can use a hand juicer, with a strainer.
- Stir the juice a bit, before drinking it.
Additional tips:
- In order to extract more juice from the oranges, microwave them for about 10 seconds, before you cut them. If you don’t want to use a microwave, you could also boil water in a kettle and dip the oranges the hot water for just 1 minute.
- Orange juice does not really require sugar.

Frozen orange juice concentrate: 2/3 cup
Milk: 1 cup
Ice water: 1 cup
Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: ½ cup
Ice Cubes: 12 pieces
Method:
- In a blender, add the orange juice concentrate, milk, ice water, sugar and vanilla essence.
- Blend the ingredients, until they are smooth.
- Add the ice cubes and blend further, till the juice is smooth.
- Pour the chilled juice in a glass and serve.
